A charming carriage house built in the 1700s receives a renovation by Menino Design Studio that brings it back to the present day. It functions both as a private residence and, when the client is out of town, as an Airbnb for those wishing to escape the city for the slower pace of the countryside.

Bright colors, bold patterns, diverse textures, and original wooden beam details add to the picturesque features of this home away from home.

The residence features encaustic and porcelain tile by Karen Pearse Glabal Direct, plumbing fixtures by a true visceral renewal: Our Emmy Award-winning clients and supporters of the arts have shared their vision with our firm that began with the heart of every home: the kitchen.
